MBS Files are associated with Opera Mail. It is the mailbox file created by Opera Mail email client that stores email messages and attachments. By default, the emails are stored as per the received date with each message saved in a file with .mbs extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MBS File via\nExport <\/strong>\u2013 Opera Mail also provides a way to export multiple\nmessages into a single MBS file. Ex \u2013 MBS file for Inbox, Sent,\nReceived, etc. To export the files, do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Fire up Opera Mail<\/strong> email client. <\/li>
  2. Select and right-click<\/strong> on a mailbox folder such as Inbox. <\/li>
  3. Click on the Export…<\/strong> option. <\/li>
  4. Choose the location to save the MBS file and click Save<\/strong>. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Convert MBS to EML with Attachments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    There are two methods to convert Opera MBS file to EML. The first method involves the inbuilt facility of Opera Mail. While the second one is about a third-party MBOX conversion tool<\/a>. Let us discuss them in detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Although the method is free, it is applicable to one email message at one time. The steps are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Now change the extension of the file i.e., replace \u2018mbs\u2019\n\twith \u2018eml\u2019.\n\t<\/li>

      You can also experiment by selecting multiple email messages at once and saving them into EML format using the given methods. It will create an EML file but all the selected emails will be automatically concatenated into a single email message. And no user wants that to happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
